Too bad.Now who's gonna sell Baron antennas?
Happy New Year!Chinese New Year, that is.

I just realized how fast the time flies. Yesterday, it was just the first semester in buko pie republic. Now, we're entering the season of love on the second sem, still in buko pie republic, and me with no love, awww (sniff).
I do have plans to switch to Manila next school year. This boy's got plans to become a doctor even if it means sacrificing a whole lot of stuff, but not too much if I can avoid it. They say it's a tough job, but I think I have what it takes. A childhood dream, lost during the most critical time, then coming back when I leat expected it. It's going to be expensive, it's going to be long, and it's going to be all right...I think. Whatever. Let's see were the wind blows.

I also realized how out of touch I am with the current events, save one for our boxer's win. Hurrah! But then again, I just learned this morning that Ernie Baron, "the walking encyclopedia," already went to the big library in the sky. Poor man, I'll miss him when the weather segment in T.V. shows up.

Good thing's no one visiting my blog. I dunno. Some would like to post stuff just to attract attention, be in, be popular . But for me, it's just a sort of fullfilling a sort of satisfaction in me. if someone does read these,I guess they got lost or something, or are actually curious, i dunno. Their visit is appreciated, though, as i myself like to look into others' blogs as well.I do sometimes tell people that I have a blog just to remind them that my face is not yet posted on the obituary (jus kiddin ya...). Really had no goal when I started to put stuff in the web. The initial push was when it was a fad. But now, it became something more than that. It's just a place where I can say what I think, when I want to. Sort of like completing something you promised you'd do. Well enough of this deep sh*t (or shallow sh*t in my view). I like to weblog because I like it, so there.
I look serious when, in fact, I'm giggling inside like a young school boy.

Paddle

The 20th post, who would have knew?! Well, no one, I guess...

Last week was hell because there were so many exams including a midterm on math 14. Move on to this week, with two more exams, one more the following week. Rememebered a line from a movie: "It's just a test, everything's just a test." Dang it...

Went to mass alone today, seeing that people would be glued to their tellies watching the fight. Anyone who has an ancestor for an Indio would know what I'm talking about. Like the last one, it was over-hyped, overpublicized, overcommercialized. Look what happened; he lost. My guts tell me that this time, he's gonna lose again. But in my thoughts, I know he's gonna pull through. Mabuhay ang Pinoy!Hurrah!

So the hazing issue was televised? No,I don't watch the tellie when I'm in the dorm. They only watch the kapamilya channel, not only because they like Kristine Hermosa, but also, it's the only clear channel that the tellie can offer. So, sorry for the Jang Geum fan club. Awww...

Back to the hazing thing. It made a big purr on campus. Not an uproar, just a purr, partly because some just didn't care, while some thought it would happen sooner or later. Well, there were newsletters and vandalism like "APO KILLER" and a prayer rally (I think) throughout the week. But for me, it was just something surprising since nothing exciting really happpens in Buko Pie republic. Got text messages (exactly two) last weekend about a guy dying from the initiation. I didn't believe it, at first. But when I got back, the news was know spread like peanut butter on bread. The guy turns out to be a sophomore, with a course the same as mine (BS AECO), and according to reports i read in the newsletter, the parents had already filed a case against those allegedly involved. Let's see where this is headed.

Just a thought. Being part of a fraternity's good in all, with all the brotherhood and goodwill to fellow man and community service going on. But if you got to put you life into risk, you might as well join the army, or be in journalism. It ain't worth it.

Monitor this little experiment: www.fotki.com/clickedbycobi I'm fixing all the pictures I have taken before and after LSGH so you'll see something in there soon. Just putting them in the right place before putting them on the web.

You have to understand. I like chocolate. And I like to share it (I think).

New Year

New Year, same ol' me...

Took a lot of time to update, had to pay just to do it...

Nice to be back in school, though. At least I would be able to control my food intake.

Had a nice time seeing y'all in Mama's house. It was a sweet pad and, even though I left a little early (2am), it was jus fun to see that that the only thing that changed are your hairdo's.

Story...Hmmm...Here's one conversation that I could have had with one foreigner, with his Filipino girlfriend/mistress/maid/wife/i dunno in orange top, during my lunch break a while ago if I had the balls to do so:

setting: SEX (Shanghai Express for the non-LB)
ME:Hello, sir
WHITE GUY: Well hello to you too, kid
ME: Um, do you like the zoo?
--if he answers no, the conversation ends wih me going to my next class. If not...--
WG: Why yes, yes I do. Why Do you ask?
ME: Um, do you like Orangutans?
WG:...Orangutans?
ME: Yes sir, orangutans. Citrus-colored, hairy monkeys that are common in the Asian region.
WG:...?
--THE END--

All white men look the same and some people are _____.
