Paddle

The 20th post, who would have knew?! Well, no one, I guess...

Last week was hell because there were so many exams including a midterm on math 14. Move on to this week, with two more exams, one more the following week. Rememebered a line from a movie: "It's just a test, everything's just a test." Dang it...

Went to mass alone today, seeing that people would be glued to their tellies watching the fight. Anyone who has an ancestor for an Indio would know what I'm talking about. Like the last one, it was over-hyped, overpublicized, overcommercialized. Look what happened; he lost. My guts tell me that this time, he's gonna lose again. But in my thoughts, I know he's gonna pull through. Mabuhay ang Pinoy!Hurrah!

So the hazing issue was televised? No,I don't watch the tellie when I'm in the dorm. They only watch the kapamilya channel, not only because they like Kristine Hermosa, but also, it's the only clear channel that the tellie can offer. So, sorry for the Jang Geum fan club. Awww...

Back to the hazing thing. It made a big purr on campus. Not an uproar, just a purr, partly because some just didn't care, while some thought it would happen sooner or later. Well, there were newsletters and vandalism like "APO KILLER" and a prayer rally (I think) throughout the week. But for me, it was just something surprising since nothing exciting really happpens in Buko Pie republic. Got text messages (exactly two) last weekend about a guy dying from the initiation. I didn't believe it, at first. But when I got back, the news was know spread like peanut butter on bread. The guy turns out to be a sophomore, with a course the same as mine (BS AECO), and according to reports i read in the newsletter, the parents had already filed a case against those allegedly involved. Let's see where this is headed.

Just a thought. Being part of a fraternity's good in all, with all the brotherhood and goodwill to fellow man and community service going on. But if you got to put you life into risk, you might as well join the army, or be in journalism. It ain't worth it.

Monitor this little experiment: www.fotki.com/clickedbycobi I'm fixing all the pictures I have taken before and after LSGH so you'll see something in there soon. Just putting them in the right place before putting them on the web.

You have to understand. I like chocolate. And I like to share it (I think).
