Today is a no-school day, and so is tomorrow! This sucks, because now, expect make-up classes in the following weeks to come.
Some of the relatives went to Hong Kong just last week. I got 2 shirts and a backpack from Hershey's from their exploits. Those were okay, but I can't wait to try-out that giveaway bag from the Duty-Free in school. Feels like carrying a bag of chocolates while going from one classroom to another.
As I delete the paragraph that I had just typed for a new subject to talk about, a typhoon's coming this way again. Very interesting. I think that we should have gotten used to the coming storms, seeing that we are a tropical counry, it is the rainy season, we are surrounded by bodies of water where rain is made of, that we are right on the left side of the Pacific where storms come from and so forth (
REMINDER: when swimming in the south, say Batangas or Quezon province, don't say "Nagsi-swimming ako sa Pacific Ocean!," say, "
Nagsi-swimming ako sa Philippine Sea!" Yes, we do have a sea,
sabi ng GEO11
prof at duun tayo lumalangoy, di sa Pacific!). I think the government should realize this fact about our weather and exploit it to the country's advantage. But what do they propose? A congressman/woman wants school days to be moved from the regular June-March schedule to a new one (I forgot the months) so as to lessen the suspension fo classes due to typhoons. In all honesty, this bogus. try going to class in the summertime, and see all the students fry under the heat. Besides, I get lazier during the summer, you'll never get me get out of the house.
What I mean is that we should put the storms to good use. For example, collect all the water those rains pour in, and I assure you, there will be no cause to fear a water shortage when summer comes. That's the only one I could think of right now, but I know that storms are a good thing , not a bad one. Positve thinking. I like.
I forgive those 2 gasholes who I nearly ran over, even if it was not entirely my fault. I don't know them, but
sana naman, mag-ingat sila sa kalye. Lumalabas dyan na hindi kayo tinuruan ng inyong mga magulang na tumawid eh. Thank God for recollections.
Feeling hungry? Eat food! (available everywhere, if you have the money to buy for it). Hurrah!
