Signal # Something

Today is a no-school day, and so is tomorrow! This sucks, because now, expect make-up classes in the following weeks to come.

Some of the relatives went to Hong Kong just last week. I got 2 shirts and a backpack from Hershey's from their exploits. Those were okay, but I can't wait to try-out that giveaway bag from the Duty-Free in school. Feels like carrying a bag of chocolates while going from one classroom to another.

As I delete the paragraph that I had just typed for a new subject to talk about, a typhoon's coming this way again. Very interesting. I think that we should have gotten used to the coming storms, seeing that we are a tropical counry, it is the rainy season, we are surrounded by bodies of water where rain is made of, that we are right on the left side of the Pacific where storms come from and so forth (REMINDER: when swimming in the south, say Batangas or Quezon province, don't say "Nagsi-swimming ako sa Pacific Ocean!," say, "Nagsi-swimming ako sa Philippine Sea!" Yes, we do have a sea, sabi ng GEO11 prof at duun tayo lumalangoy, di sa Pacific!). I think the government should realize this fact about our weather and exploit it to the country's advantage. But what do they propose? A congressman/woman wants school days to be moved from the regular June-March schedule to a new one (I forgot the months) so as to lessen the suspension fo classes due to typhoons. In all honesty, this bogus. try going to class in the summertime, and see all the students fry under the heat. Besides, I get lazier during the summer, you'll never get me get out of the house.

What I mean is that we should put the storms to good use. For example, collect all the water those rains pour in, and I assure you, there will be no cause to fear a water shortage when summer comes. That's the only one I could think of right now, but I know that storms are a good thing , not a bad one. Positve thinking. I like.

I forgive those 2 gasholes who I nearly ran over, even if it was not entirely my fault. I don't know them, but sana naman, mag-ingat sila sa kalye. Lumalabas dyan na hindi kayo tinuruan ng inyong mga magulang na tumawid eh. Thank God for recollections.

Feeling hungry? Eat food! (available everywhere, if you have the money to buy for it). Hurrah!

Tick goes the Time

Got five minutes, so here goes:

-been to a silent recollection last weekend. Now I know God is in me and I don't need to look for him anywhere else
-Monday tested me ito see if I would break. Apparatnly, I almost did, with the graphing of unknown things in chem lab and eating apritada at home. Thank God...
-Got school in 7. Its gonna be a 5-hour break. (groaning)
-you're beautiful/handsome, you just don't want to accept it
-be careful on the road, you don't want to get a dent on the scooter (groaning again)
-Just try to live,fully live!

Hooray! Goodnight!

Scoot on Der, Pardner!

Damn, so they're going to raise the tuition of the people who will soon mold this country's future? It ain't right, ya hear? Even if some, I myself included, can afford the increase, its not fair for those who can't but are more qualified. Quality education. More money can't increase that.

Having a bad riding week this week. I feel that the scooter's acting mighty strange, stranger than usual. Or maybe its all in my head. But how could I explain its weird performance on the road lately? I'vew been nearly hitting the bumpers of random cars these past days. Nearly hit a number of pedestrians on the road (I was especially upset at those two gasholes who I nearly hit in front of NBI when I was nearing Mini-Pee (UPM) last Monday. Punyemas niyong dalawa! Mga puke ng tinga niyo kayo!!! Sana ma-karma kayo nang husto!!!).

Phew! Had to get that off. Didn't really cuss straight forward because that would be really bad. But I do admit I chuckled a bit when I remembered how the one who was nearer in getting hit jump the way he did, when he tried to avoid me. Lucky gashole...

Anyways, I just had me PE 2 this afternoon. Being a very clueless person about almost everything, SD ain't "self-defense" but "social dance."Just took it for the sake of my schedule. Never realized it until I got into class! Can you say moron?! Surprisingly, however, I enjoyed it. It was basic cha-cha. Haha! And those InterMed students were very nice. You'd never expect that they are, save for some of them who do look beyond intellectual, no offense, people

Still in a deep funk when it comes to studying. Di pa kasi maayos yung sched ko eh! The clock now sounded 9 and I still haven't done squat. Leave me lazy gods, distraction gods. I don't need you.

With that being said, I sign out! Voltron lives in the DVD player! Big brother's watching!

J-pop

It was a really weird and wonderful week this week as I saw a tire of a jeep suddenly pop (while still attached to the jeep!), and I remember seeing a dead person shot through the head while going to MOA (Mall of Asia, uh-huh, that's what they call it apparently).

Finally enrolled for the 2nd semester in the MP (a.k.a. mini-pee, a.k.a. mini-UP, a.k.a. UP Manila, whew!). Very frustrating though that you go to school but your professors not showing up,or even if they did ,they skip out on the introductions and start off with the studying. However, registering late brings you these sort of problems.

ME COMING IN LATE (7:20AM)
Mr. Rubidillo: blah, blah, blah, benzene, blah, blah, blah, resonance contributors, blah, blah, blah...

I don't understand a thing, but I have to if I want to at least survive this subject. Chem31, who does this %^$*?!

Oh, apparently I caused a dent to my pop's car. I didn't know how to react when he just came in and told me that I caused it . Mm-hmm. Of course he was near the point of ballistic, which I understandably sensed. I just smiled, tried to reason, then just shut my mouth knowing that it won't get me anywhere. I took the fall and he took it well. Pop's very understanding. Very cool dude too. Best dad in the world haha! No, he ain't reading this behind me. I mean every word (ahem).

Bad part about the whole deal was my small brother, who I drove for, ratted out on me when he said to mother that we nearly bumped a post. It did nearly happen, but that doesn't mean he had to tell somebody about it. Buhay pa naman siya diba? Asar eh. Masisira kredibilidad ko neto eh.

Christmas is coming, so what do I want? Apart from the usual peace on Earth, goodwill to man (it ain't possible!), maybe a good set of two wheels, oh yeah! NOW that I know is impossible, but hey, dreaming's fun.

Brother Raves about Voltron

What's happening? When it seems that I feel like blogging, something happens. Google buys too much. It should save a little bit of money for the rainy day, you know.

Anyways, today was the final day for enrollment, and yours truly never made it to the finish line. In truth, I did, but then no one was holding the tape and no one's waiting in the finish line when I got there. All I had to do was pay for the damn thing and get it over with. But that was not to be. Sad.

I'm getting the hang of it though, after one semester in UP Manila. (Got interrupted by by little sister, she's in UST ya know, babbling about no one reading this, blah, blah). It's the mini-me of all the known UP campuses, me think. Very small place. Still got the terrific UP crowd of different walks o' life but all wandering around in narrower corridors. It has an Oble, like everybody else. It has places with trees, but one coconut tree apparently won't stand erect because of the typhoon. Dysfunctional. Sandwiched between the Dept. of Justice and the Supreme Court. Just turn around the block, the Court of Appeals. It's great when there are rallies outside, albeit smaller in scale compared to Diliman and more specific. I remember one time when walking on the sidewalk, there were protesters in front of DOJ protesting against Nestle. I dunno maybe something about wages? Maybe someone found out about the hair they found in their ice cream? I dunno, I just made that up. Them happenings outside make the dull life inside the classroom still dull. Why? Because the happenings outside happen outside. Oi!

As I dubbed UPLB "Buko Pie Republic" in the past, so too shall give a name to UPM. Since it is a compact version of a UP campus, I dubbed thee "Mini-Pee," shor for mini UP. Wait, that didn't sound right...

Amazing Race na! Asian Ed. nga lang! Gusto nameng host si Phil Koeghen (Tama ba ispeling?!), o si Edu Mazano! Si Aubrey at yung sexy nyang kaibigan, whats-her-name! Di talaga tayo marunong mag dribe sa kalye! Ako ang tatapos! Kaching!

Trying...Again...

Welcome to the 3rd (or is it 4th) reincarnation of this blog! New look, same ol' ugly blogger!

This resurfaced due to the fact that at this moment, 12:15pm, I'm so bored to the point of hallucinating and so lazy to do anything about it.

I am going to make this a weekly thing, try, to be more specific. See if I can break this promise like the other promises I've made to myself. See how "responsible" I am at this point in my life.

When's a good dayfor an update? Saturday? Tuesday? Tossing out random days here, people. I guess I would have to choose Thursday. It's not a special day, just like yours truly, so expect something new on...the 15th.

We'll keep trying...again and again and again...8D
